Wednesday I came home early from school, because it was raining hard. There was some flooding. Dad, mom, and I went to grandma and grandpa’s to help with the water in their basement. I used the water vacuum! I had off school 2 more days because of the floods.

I like how you took your time and put so many thoughts into this post. I am so proud of you for writing it and for helping Grandma and Grandpa Wednesday night. You were really good at running the “water vacuum.”
